The Robin Rounds Memorial Garden is located in a low-income area of Wichita. The garden was established to help youth with little or no knowledge of gardening develop gardening skills and learn that gardening is not only imperative for survival, but enjoyable and relaxing. Produce will be provided to neighbors, local food shelters and food kitchens that assist in fighting hunger amongst poor and homeless citizens in Wichita. The garden requested funds for tools, rain barrels, a storage unit, and site improvements.
